URBAN CRESCENT FURNITURE - PRODUCT WARRANTY

WARRANTY

The manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in construction and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase. The warranty extends only to the product. In as much as upholstery covers (fabrics or synthetic leathers) are not guaranteed by the mills, Urban Crescent will not be held responsible for the wear or fading of any upholstery cover. Urban Crescent warranty will not apply if the product has been subject to any alteration, modification, or repair carried out by the purchaser or any of its agents and privies. Warranty provisions will not apply to damage or defects caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, improper cleaning, abnormal wear, and tear, or incorrect handling. Warranty extends to original purchasers only. Please note that warranties are not transferable and do not extend to re-sold items. For the warranty to be in effect, the product must have been used for its intended purpose through normal use. The warranty does not include any freight damage.

  1. ALL DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS SUBJECT TO URBAN CRESCENT WARRANTY MUST BE RETURNED TO URBAN CRESCENT FOR INSPECTION AND REPAIR. ALL SHIPPING CHARGES TO AND FROM URBAN CRESCENT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. WHEN WARRANTY SERVICE IS COMPLETED, ANY REPAIRED PRODUCT WILL BE RETURNED TO THE PURCHASER AT THEIR COST.
  2. URBAN CRESCENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY).
  3. ANY ITEM REPAIRED OR REPLACED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL BE COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PERIOD ONLY.
  4. URBAN CRESCENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES OFFERED BY ANY RETAILER OR THROUGH A THIRD PARTY.
  5.  IN NO EVENT SHALL URBAN CRESCENT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOSS OF USE, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, WHETHER INDIRECT OR DIRECT, AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR TORT. IN NO EVENT SHALL URBAN CRESCENT INTERIOR RESPONSIBILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS REPLACEMENT.

 

  1. WOOD

We provide a one-year warranty that is limited to construction and workmanship, and does not include accidental damages, spills, or damages caused by everyday use (such as water damage, scratches, wear, or fading). The graining and colour of wood surfaces may vary due to natural characteristics of wood. URBAN CRESCENT cannot guarantee an exact match. Other exceptions include unsuitable environments or exposure to elements that may cause the expansion and contraction of the wood.

  1. 1 YEAR HOSPITALITY LIMITED WARRANTY

The manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in construction and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Urban Crescent does not cover the warranty of materials.

 

  1. CAUTION: Motion furniture (swivel chairs, sofas, tables, etc.) has many moving parts. Caution must be used in operation (opening, closing, etc.). Children should not be allowed to play on or operate motion furniture. Always leave furniture in the safest position and keep hands and feet clear of mechanism.
  2. SHIPPING POLICY

Urban crescent (ucinterior) ("we" and "us") is the operator of all Urban Crescent shopping channels, placing an order through any of our channels you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.


  1. General

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfil all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfil the available products to you, and contact you to confirm whether you would prefer to await restocking of the ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.


  1. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will not be collected with the purchase. As we use independent courier services.

This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.


  1. Returns

3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind

Urban Crescent will Not accept returns due to change of mind. We will accept if there are Damges to Item upon delivery as long as a request to return is received by us within 3 days of receipt of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition.

Return shipping will be paid at the customer’s expense and such customers will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once returns are received and accepted, replace May  be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.

(Ucinterior) will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.



  1. Warranty Returns

Uc Interior will happily honour any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 3 days of receipt of items.

Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping; however, we will reimburse you upon a successful warranty claim.

Upon return receipt of items for a warranty claim, you can expect uc interior to process your warranty claim within 7 working days.

Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:

(a) repair of item (if) damaged

(b) a refund in store credit

(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)


EXCEPTIONS

Notwithstanding other provisions of this Policy, we may refuse to grant returns or refunds if:

* The customer misuses or mishandles the product in such a way that caused damage to the product.

* The customer was aware or notified of the problems with the product or service before making the purchase.

* The customer changes their mind after payment has been made.

* The customer does not check the specifications and dimensions as stated on the website or as communicated by our customer support agents.

* The customer does not like the product or realises they have no use for it.

* The customer has received the item(s) but fails to make a report within 48 hours of receipt.

* The customer does not facilitate a successful return of Goods in their original unused condition (i.e with packaging nylon).

 

  1. Delivery Terms

4.1. Transit Time Domestically

In general, domestic shipments are in transit for the duration of time specified by courier services, subject to review depending on the volume of the order.

4.2. Dispatch Time

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days after production of purchased items

Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except

on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Dispatch is when we send the product to our delivery partner, not when it arrives at your door.

4.4 Change Of Delivery Address

For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

Uc interior will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.

4.6 Items Out Of Stock

If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

  1. Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking information from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

  1. Items Damaged In Transit

If you find an Item is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the

Item from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the item has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps.

 

  1. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax has not been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

For international shipments, import duties & taxes may be required to be paid.

Uc interior pre-calculate these costs and display them at checkout and give customers the choice of pre-paying these duties and taxes, or choosing to pay them seperately upon arrival in your destination country. Uc interior encourage customers to pre-pay duties and taxes as pre-paying these will facilitate a faster delivery time as they will be less likely to be subject to delays at

customs at their destination country.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to uc interior at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

  1. Cancellations

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

  1. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
